BEASTofBURDEN was created by former Roberto Cavalli designer Richard Taylor who combined with his native Zimbabwean/Italian partner to form accessories label BEASTofBURDEN. BEASTofBURDEN is a celebration of local artisans with a global approach. The couple responsibly source and tan the highest quality natural Nile crocodile and ostrich skins directly from Zimbabwe, Africa where they work in partnership with indigenous crocodile farming communities. They then combine with artisans in Florence to hand make each piece individually. The label’s style is utilitarian luxury and like the designers who spend their time travelling and working between Africa, Italy and the UK the label is
